One morning I stumbled on a site that announced Barak Obama's victory over Hillary Clinton in the primaries.
It again dawn on me that success is not a respecter of color. In spite of all the sacastic comments about Obama's colour, success still smiled on him.
If success was a respecter of color, Obama would not have been considered let alone winning the primaries.
It is important to note that Barak Obama was not elected based on sentiments.
In other words, being black is not a disadvantage.
You can attain whatever height you desire. Your race, color, language, experience, etc. are not good enough to deter you.
You have to wake up and face reality squarely.
Life gives what a passionate man or woman demands of it.
We all have equal chances to succeed, your color notwithstanding.
Even a leper has equal chances of being successful to a full bodied man or woman.
Have you not read stories of blind men and women who made it to the very top?
Your success is tied to what you can see plus an unwavering passion coupled with determination.
Combine these three ingredients and nothing in the universe can stop you from getting to the very top.

Heros are made.
Come to think about it. Great men and women who have made or are making impact today, went through some rigorous activities in secret that today brings them to lime light.
Every hero you see today, prepared in a secret place yesterday.
The place of preparation can not be overemphasized.
Heros today, sold themselves out to discipline and consistency.
They kept going inspite of all odds.
They deprived themselves of alot. They keep some night. They work and keep working.
They weren't lazy. They are early risers. They are awake while others are snoring.
Name an hero today and I will tell you that he had a secret place.
The activities in the secret place made way for where he is today.
